Full hand names at the table
- The hand line, like “Two Pair + flush draw”, now sits in a rounded tag under each seat, next to the last action, instead of on the name plate. Long hands are never cut off any more, and the name plates are a bit smaller. Open →
- Play with no assists: in practice, set Coach to Off and the table stops naming your hand (no Chen score or “Two Pair”), stops showing win chances and hides the bots’ reasoning, so it’s just you and the cards. Multiplayer tables do the same when the host turns off Coaches and assists, for everyone at the table. Open →
- Our Terms of Use are now the Terms of Service, updated with our legal team: what Pro is (a flat software subscription), the rules for hosting tournaments (always free to enter, no entry fees anywhere), prizes that hosts offer themselves, our bot policy, and Ontario law and courts. The Privacy Policy adds Pro billing through Stripe and a section on privacy rights in Canada, the UK and the US. Open →
- Clearer about automatic checks: our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy now say which checks are automatic (blocked words in table and leaderboard names, and an AI check on uploaded pictures). If one turns down something of yours and you think it got it wrong, email us and a person will look at it. Open →
New here? Start with Why Blindspot Poker
- Your profile picture now shows on your seat at multiplayer tables instead of just your initial, and on your own seat when you practice. Everyone at the table sees it, and so do stream overlays of the table. Rather not? Switch off Show my picture at tables in your profile. Open →
- Uploaded profile pictures are now checked before they go on your profile, so nudity, violence, hate symbols and personal details stay off the tables. If a picture isn’t allowed you’re told why, and you can pick another or use a built-in one. Open →
- Report a player: at a multiplayer table, open the Table menu and press Report to tell our team about a player who seems to be a bot or cheating, has an abusive name, or is working with someone else. You can also report a profile from its page. Only our staff see reports, and the player isn’t told who reported them. Open →
- The lobby always has open tables: four BSP rooms (two hold’em, two Omaha) with bots in the empty seats, so you can sit down and play any time. Each has its own seats, stakes and bot difficulty, and a quiet room is swapped for a new one every few minutes. Bust out and you can sit down again for a fresh buy-in. Open →
- Choose when the practice coach speaks: Before you move (its advice, the default) or After you move (it checks your move once you make it, a good way to test yourself). Find it under Options; your choice is remembered. Open →
- Why Blindspot Poker? is easier to find: a Why us? link in the menu bar and the phone menu, and a New here? link under the buttons on the home page. Open →
- Stream overlays are always live now, with no delay settings. To keep players at your table from seeing cards on your stream, set a delay in OBS (Settings > Advanced > Stream Delay). A hosted table’s broadcast is live too and still shows every player’s cards. Open →
- Your cards on your stream overlay: while other people are playing at your table they stay face down until the hand ends, and against bots they show as they’re dealt. Show my cards on stream, in the Stream panel and the OBS dock, changes it for the table you’re at. Open →
- The OBS dock shows your hand as big cards, with the board underneath, so you can read it at a glance.
More privacy for your account
- Why Blindspot Poker? A new page with screenshots showing what the site does: the coach and how it explains decisions, the practice tools, and for coaches and streamers, viewer game nights, coach mode and the OBS overlay and dock. Open →
- How the coach works: a new page explaining that the coach isn’t AI. It’s poker rules and odds checked against solvers, it runs in your browser, and it doesn’t learn from you or send your hands anywhere. Linked from the coach panel and the footer. Open →
- The coach now plays the turn and river like a strong player too, also checked against a solver: it checks to the bettor, keeps betting strong hands and draws, checks medium hands on the river, folds weak pairs to river bets and raises its best hands. With three or more players, it folds hands with no pair and no draw to a bet. Open →
- A smarter coach after the flop, checked against a poker solver. Heads-up on the flop it now checks to the raiser, makes small continuation bets on dry boards, folds hands with no pair and no draw to a bet, calls with ace-high and backdoor draws where that pays, and raises its strongest hands. Facing a re-raise before the flop it follows simple rules, clearly labelled as simplified. Open →
- A smarter coach before the flop. It now defends the big blind like a strong player (about three times as many hands as before), opens more from the small blind, plays suited aces and kings from every seat, and re-raises or folds when someone opens instead of just calling. The starting hand chart, quiz, daily hand and drills use the same new ranges. Open →
- A Support page: chip in for the upkeep on Ko-fi if you like, once or monthly. It’s optional and unlocks nothing. Open →
- Sign in without Google: get a one-time sign-in link by email, or use an email and password. Continue with Google still works, and every way signs in to the same kind of account on both sites. Open →
- Privacy: your email is no longer shown in the account menu, and on your account page it stays hidden until you press Show, so it can’t end up on stream. New players pick their own table name and profile picture instead of starting from their Google name and photo. Open →
Pot-Limit Omaha, phone tables, a career leaderboard and weekly challenges
- Phones: the live table on the home page shows its whole panel without cutting off at the edge. An empty lobby now points you to a practice game you can start right away. Open →
- Pot-Limit Omaha: pick Omaha when you set up a coached game. Four cards each, your hand uses exactly two of them with three from the board, and every bet is capped at the pot. Open →
- The coach knows Omaha: it ranks your four cards among all 270,725 starting hands, says whether your hand is the best possible one, and warns about the two-card traps (one spade with four on the board is not a flush). Open →
- Omaha tables in multiplayer too: choose the game when you open a table. Coaches, hosts, spectators and stream overlays all work. Open →
- A new lesson, Omaha for hold'em players: the two-plus-three rule, starting hands, pot-limit betting, the nuts, why pairs shrink, wraps and blockers. Open →
- Four Omaha tools: starting hand checker, Omaha equity calculator, pot-limit calculator and hand reader. Open →
- Omaha drills and three Omaha blindspots: hands with a useless card, second-best straights and flushes, and calling bets with one pair. Open →
- An Omaha daily hand, next to the hold'em one. Open →
- Your stats, blindspots and progress keep hold'em and Omaha apart, with a switch once you've played Omaha. Open →
- Blindspot Blackjack is open at blindspotblackjack.com, with a coach on every move. Sign in with the same Google account and your profile comes with you. Open →
- OBS dock for streamers: a panel inside OBS where you can start or join a table and play with Fold, Call, Bet and Break buttons while the game shows on your overlay, plus a Stream settings tab. It can chime when it's your turn. Get your dock link on the Streamer page. Open →
- Sound effects at the table: dealing, chips, checks, folds, your turn and wins. Turn them off with Sound in the table menu.
- Stream overlays play the table sounds too, in step with the overlay. Streamers and hosts can switch them off in their controls. Open →
- Click a player's name at the table to open their public profile in a new tab (only for players whose profile is public).
- Copy profile link: a button under your profile link on the account page. Open →
- Longer names like Zachary or Solaris fit on the table name tags, and the table stays sharp on large and high-resolution screens.
- Take a break together: anyone at the table can vote for one from the Table menu. Once at least a third of the players vote, the table stops after the hand and deals again when everyone presses Ready.
- A little more time between hands to read the result and your review before the next deal.
- Leave table now stands you up and shows the seats, so you can move seats or watch without going back to the lobby.
- Stream controls at your table: switch your overlay between the game, your session stats, Starting soon and Be right back, add a caption, and pick which numbers viewers see. Open →
- Overlays fade and slide between scenes instead of cutting, and show a big On a break sign over the table during a break.
- Quick reactions pop up in a speech bubble over the player who sent them.
- Hosts and streamers get their controls in a column of their own on the left, and the table screen uses the full width of your browser.
- Fixed: ticking Show my career on my public profile didn't stay ticked. It also tells you now if your profile is private, since the career only shows on a public profile. Open →
- Tables fit a phone screen with no scrolling. In portrait the table is drawn tall so names and cards are bigger, and the coach, hand review, stats and history sit in tabs above your buttons.
- Raising on a phone takes two taps: Raise opens a tray with presets and a slider, then you confirm.
- Turn your phone sideways and your buttons move beside the table.
- Career tables have their own bots: eight regulars who each play a different strong style. The table only says whether bots are on.
- Career leaderboard, if you choose to join it: biggest bankrolls now, best careers ever and most hands. Open →
- Weekly career challenges for everyone on the leaderboard. Biggest climb, Big pot week and Grinder week take turns, starting each Monday. Open →
- Nine career milestones to earn, from Doubled up to Comeback. They show on your career and your public profile.
- Play careers with friends: a link-only table with no bots, an Invite friends button, and friends can start a career right at the table. Open →
- Four new lessons on using the site: the table screen, the coach, the tracker and your blindspots. Open →
- Names other players see are checked for abusive words and names that pretend to be staff. Staff can take a name off the leaderboard.
- Stream overlay: a new Full table layout draws the table from your seat, with the tracker and the hand history beside it, so you can stream without showing your browser. It shows only what you can see. Open →
- Stream overlay: each move you pick (fold, check, call, bet, raise, all-in) now shows in big colored letters, and viewers see when it's your turn to decide. Open →
- Turning off Allow coaches when you start a table now turns off the built-in coach too, not just invited coaches. The table shows No coaches at the top. Open →
- A new background of slowly drifting card suits on every page.
- Fixed: a table with bots off crashed until someone sat down.
Multiplayer, career mode and a lot more to practice with
- Multiplayer tables. Start one and send friends the link, or join an open table from the lobby. Bots can fill empty seats. Open →
- Career mode: a $1,000 play-money bankroll that carries between career tables. There are no free rebuys, and losing it all ends the career. Open →
- At multiplayer tables other than practice, running out of chips means you are out of that table.
- Coached games against bots, with a coach that gives one call and its reason, bet sizes in round numbers, and bots that act at a human pace. Open →
- Bring a real coach: invite someone who sees only your cards and can suggest plays.
- Hosted tables and streaming: hosts can commentate with every card showing on a delayed broadcast, and streamers get an overlay for OBS with one link for both. Open →
- Daily hand: one new puzzle a day, 123 in all so far, with no race to be first. Open →
- Hand review after every hand, replays you can save and share, and a progress page that tracks your blindspots over time. Open →
- Blindspot drills, an equity calculator and a starting hands quiz, alongside the pot odds, outs and side pot calculators. Open →
- New lessons on luck and swings, bluffing and reading the table, plus a Table rules page. Open →
- Accounts with Google sign-in: saved stats, a public profile with a picture and links, and a way to download or delete your data. Open →
- Guests can watch tables without signing in.
- The site works on phones, with a menu and the coach tip next to your buttons.
- Fixed: pot math now returns uncalled bets, splits pots in whole chips and labels side pots.
Blindspot Poker opens
- The first version: a landing page, a live table you can watch, and short lessons with a glossary for poker terms. Open →
