Terms of Service.

Last updated October 1, 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

Welcome to Blindspot Poker (blindspotpoker.com; the "Website" or "Platform"). This Website is owned and operated by Blindspot Cards, an Ontario, Canada entity ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing our Website, creating an account, or purchasing a "Pro" subscription, you ("User", "Host", or "Player") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to use the site where you live.

3. Nature of service and simulation disclaimer

3.1 The Platform is a strictly free-to-play, educational card-game simulation and training tool for poker and blackjack.

3.2 All digital chips, points, tokens, and balances displayed within the application are virtual simulations with zero cash value. They cannot be purchased for real money, redeemed for real-world currency or goods, or transferred between users for tangible consideration.

3.3 The Platform does not facilitate, operate, or provide real-money gambling, sports betting, or un-licensed lotteries.

4. A learning tool

The lessons, coach, charts, drills and statistics are for education and entertainment. They are general guidance based on simplified models, not personalised advice. The computer opponents don't play like every real player, and nothing on the site guarantees results. If you choose to play real-money poker elsewhere, you do so at your own risk and must follow the laws where you live.

If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available: call 1-800-GAMBLER (US) or visit BeGambleAware (UK).

5. Your account

You can create an optional account with Google, a sign-in link we email you, or an email and password. Keep your email account and password secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

6. "Pro" subscription and SaaS structure

6.1 Users may upgrade to a paid "Pro" subscription to unlock advanced features, including tournament hosting features (e.g., custom entry links, private tournaments) and study tools. Everything that is free today stays free.

6.2 This subscription fee is strictly a software-as-a-service (SaaS) fee paid for access to premium software functionalities.

6.3 The Pro subscription fee is a flat-rate charge. It is never scaled based on the number of players, the size of a simulated prize pool, or acting as a "rake" or percentage of any tournament metric.

6.4 Feature evolution: The "Pro" subscription grants the Host access to a suite of advanced tournament hosting and room management tools. The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, update, replace, add to, or temporarily disable specific software tools or features within the Pro subscription tier at any time without prior notice or liability, provided the core functionality of advanced tournament hosting is maintained.

6.5 Buying, renewing, cancelling and refunding Pro are covered by our Terms of Sale, which win over these Terms on anything about a purchase.

7. Fair use

Please don't:

  • try to access other players' data or interfere with the site's security or operation;
  • at multiplayer tables: use offensive or impersonating table names, share cards or collude with other players, or use bots or tools to play for you;
  • as a coach or host: pass on what you can see to other players at the table, or use it to help anyone but the player you coach;
  • share someone else's coach link or overlay link, or use one that wasn't given to you;
  • put anything offensive, sexual, hateful, misleading or someone else's private information in your name, picture, bio or links, or pretend to be someone you're not;
  • use automated tools to overload the site or scrape it at scale;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.

At multiplayer tables the server deals every hand, and you only ever receive your own cards. A coach sees only the cards of the player who invited them; a host sees every card, which players are told before they sit. We may remove anyone from a table, close a table, or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

We may change or remove a profile name, picture, bio or link that breaks these rules, or make a profile private. Anyone can report a profile from its page.

Some checks are automatic. Table names and leaderboard names are checked against a list of blocked words as you type them, and pictures you upload are checked by an AI model before they can be used (see our Privacy Policy). Our staff review reports. If an automatic check turns something of yours down and you think it got it wrong, email us and a person will look at it again.

If you stream, you're responsible for your stream and what it shows, including following the rules of the platform you stream on. Keep your overlay link private.

Bot policy and platform integrity

Users are strictly prohibited from using automated scripts, bots, web scrapers, or third-party software tools to automate gameplay, manipulate card dealing algorithms, or harvest tournament data.

8. Hosting tournaments: mandatory hosting covenants and prohibited conduct

All Hosts creating tournaments explicitly covenant, warrant, and agree to the following conditions:

8.1 Strict no-gambling policy: Hosts shall not utilize the Platform to run, organize, or facilitate un-licensed gambling, commercial gaming, or private bookmaking.

8.2 No charging entry fees: Tournaments must remain 100% free for players to enter. Hosts are strictly prohibited from charging, soliciting, or accepting any entry fees, mandatory "donations", or real-world monetary considerations outside of the Platform (including but not limited to e-transfers, cash, PayPal, or cryptocurrency) in exchange for tournament passwords, access links, or entry keys.

8.3 Legal compliance burden: The Host assumes 100% of the legal burden to comply with local promotional contest, lottery, and sweepstakes laws in the jurisdictions where they distribute their entry links.

8.4 Skill-testing requirement: If the Host is distributing tournament links to Canadian residents and offering a prize, the Host must independently administer a multi-step mathematical skill-testing question to the selected winner before awarding the prize, to comply with the Canadian Criminal Code.

8.5 Cooperation and dismissal: The Company reserves the absolute right, in its sole discretion, to instantly terminate a Host's account and forfeit active Pro subscriptions without a refund if the Host is found to be violating these rules or running underground pay-to-play networks.

9. Independent host-provided prizes and third-party disclaimer

9.1 Pro Hosts may independently choose to offer real-world prizes, rewards, or promotional incentives to participants in their tournaments.

9.2 The Company is a neutral software intermediary. The Company does not own, sponsor, endorse, verify, manage, or take any responsibility for the offering, legitimacy, or delivery of any prizes advertised or promised by an independent Host.

9.3 Any agreement regarding a prize exists strictly as a separate contract between the independent Host and the participating Player.

9.4 The Company explicitly disclaims all liability, losses, or damages arising from a Host's failure to deliver a prize, fraudulent prize representations, or non-compliance with local promotional laws. Users agree that any dispute regarding prizes must be resolved directly with the tournament host.

10. Our content

The site's design, text, graphics and code belong to Blindspot Cards or its licensors. You may use the site for your own learning. You may share links and screenshots of your own hands and results.

11. Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove features, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted website uptime. The Company is not liable for data loss, server disconnections, or missed prizes resulting from server outages, web browser incompatibilities, or user connectivity issues.

12. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its information is complete or accurate.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Blindspot Cards is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any losses from gambling you do elsewhere. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

14. Support payments

You can choose to support the site with a one-time or monthly payment on the Support page. Support is voluntary and doesn't buy anything: it unlocks no features, gives no advantage in any game, isn't linked to your account, and can't be exchanged for chips, prizes or money. Blindspot Cards is not a registered charity, so support payments aren't charitable donations and we don't issue tax receipts.

Payments are made on our Ko-fi page and processed by Ko-fi with PayPal or Stripe, whose terms also apply to the payment. Monthly support renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Ko-fi or PayPal account, or by emailing us, and no further payments are taken. We refund any support payment in full if you ask within 30 days of it. We may stop accepting support at any time; if we do, we cancel all monthly support.

15. How tournaments run

Tournaments on the site are free to enter and played for play-money chips. Chips and finishing places have no cash value. Any prize is offered by the host alone, under sections 8 and 9.

The host directs their event: they set it up, run the clock, and can warn players, sit them out, remove registrations, disqualify players or cancel the event. Every director decision is recorded in the event's log with the reason given, and players can read it. Hosts must direct fairly and follow these terms. You can report a player or a host to us, and our staff can step in at any event, including by ending it or removing anyone from it. Hosting needs Blindspot Pro; registering and playing never do.

16. Governing law and exclusive jurisdiction

16.1 These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Platform shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.2 Except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection legislation (which may grant you non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction), any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms must be instituted exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
